Description of the Print: The original "Apqusiuq" acrylic painting, 40" x 40" wood frame, resting on a denim canvas I made, worker's fabric. It is stitched with labor. By using it I wanted the image of breaking ice to live on a surface that has always belonged to work. The warm sky vs. the cold assorted blue ice could be interpreted as resilience against adversity, passion meeting challenge, on the ice, where strength meets stillness. The Inuk carves a way forward through jagged shards, cutting through the chill of doubt, reminding us that each morning, there's a path to be made. -Aviuk


Note: Printed on fine art matte paper and signed by the artist. Each order is fulfilled directly by me, with a 2–3 week turnaround to allow for printing and careful packaging.

    If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact me within 7 days of delivery at oyagak@hotmail.com with photos of the issue. I’ll make it right by sending a replacement or issuing a refund as appropriate.

    Shipping costs are non-refundable. Returns are not accepted for change of mind, as each print is custom produced at the time of your order.

  • All orders are fulfilled and shipped directly by me from Anchorage, Alaska. Each print is carefully inspected, signed, and packaged to ensure it arrives safely and in perfect condition.

    • Packing:

      • 10"x10" and 20"x20" prints are sealed in protective sleeves with backing boards and shipped flat in rigid mailers.

      • 36"x36" prints are rolled and shipped in heavy-duty mailing tubes for safe travel.

    • Shipping Method:All orders include free shipping within the U.S. via USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground, with tracking provided.

    • Turnaround Time:Please allow 2–3 weeks for printing, packaging, and delivery. Each order is fulfilled by hand and shipped as soon as it’s ready.
