“Snerts” — 36” x 48” — Acrylic on Canvas This painting is inspired by memories of my aaka and her friends gathered around the table, laughing and playing snerts. They spoke only Iñupiat, and even though I couldn’t understand the words, I always understood the happiness. The joy. The way they lifted each other up through laughter. Now my mom plays too — and those same sounds fill her home. It reminds me that these moments continue… that our culture carries on through the everyday things we share with the people we love. “Snerts” is for the aaka’s and aana’s — and all the laughter that keeps us together. Snerts
All orders are fulfilled and shipped directly by me from Anchorage, Alaska. Each print is carefully inspected, signed, and packaged to ensure it arrives safely and in perfect condition.
Packing:
Prints are sealed in protective sleeves with backing boards and shipped flat in rigid mailers and larger rolled canvases are shipped in heavy-duty mailing tubes for safe travel.
Shipping Method: All orders include free shipping within the U.S. via USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground, with tracking provided.
Turnaround Time: Please allow 2–3 weeks for printing, packaging, and delivery. Each order is fulfilled by hand and shipped as soon as it’s ready.
Each piece from Sacred Layers by Aviuk is created and fulfilled with care. Because every print is made to order, all sales are final.
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact me within 7 days of delivery at oyagak@hotmail.com with photos of the issue. I’ll make it right by sending a replacement or issuing a refund as appropriate.
Shipping costs are non-refundable. Returns are not accepted for change of mind, as each print is custom produced at the time of your order.
